The handover was carried out in a friendly and matter-of-fact manner. Some identified defects were immediately corrected, while others were declared to be known but irreparable or not yet corrected (see below). The yacht's sailing characteristics were very good. Storage space was plentiful for five people, but would probably be very limited for more. The technical equipment (engine, navigation, plotter, lights, water supply) was largely reliable.
The yacht's cleanliness was mediocre. Dirt was found behind covers, etc., in several places. The spray hood was leaking, full of holes, and blind. Of the four fire extinguishers (no CO2 extinguishers), two had no spray pressure according to their own indicators. Inflatable life jackets are practically unwearable these days, life jackets and lifebelts without crotch straps can no longer be considered safe. The jib was not properly rigged on the furling system. The mooring lines were too short for proper release. The fuel gauge remained at "full" with almost 50% fuel consumption (despite being divided into 1/4 increments; considered dangerous). Some screws were no longer holding tight (door handles, skylight frame, etc.). Bolt cutters were not on board. Bedding consisted only of a sheet, a pillowcase, and a (too) thin synthetic blanket.
